Hi,

Looking to buy a laptop. Don't want to spend too much if possible, but I'd like it to be able to play World of Warcraft and maybe Photoshop? (Not sure about PS on laptops)

It's not a replacement for my PC, but it must be capable of playing some games.

Price range.. say £700-800? Flexible.

Recomend away :D

Been looking around, what do these specs sound like?

Core 2 Duo P7450 2.2GHz,
4GB RAM,
320GB HDD,
15.4" WXGA,
Geforce 9300m

Any good? How is the GeForce 9300m 256mb?

That one is only £566 :o

playing games look at a Geforce 9600M card as a minimum.

Have a look at the different Acer models 6930G/6935G and the different configurations available.

Also HP DV7 DV5

i would say DELL as well but im not sure if they are still putting in 8600M in their 15" laptops.

I see, thanks for the advice.

Found this:

For £575 seems decent to me?

Bear in mind most likely the only game I will play occasionally on this will be WoW, other games will be on my desktop. Also I don't mind if it's on lowest settings, aslong as it's playable.

at least 3 major retailers do a reasonable specced Acer model for £600 ish or under. One with 9600M GT DDR3 would be better than the GS but if your not gaming really that prolly doesnt matter
