Spec me a laptop

Hi all,

I am after the best laptop money can buy me for a budget of £2000-2500. I want this to be as future proof as possible. I will be doing a mix of Photoshop, video editing general use as well as gaming. I've not really kept up to date with the latest technology of late so was hoping for some help! One of the main reasons I won't go for a desktop is the portability as I travel around a lot. I was looking at the top end of the MSI range but just thought id check with the experts first!

I've not heard great things about Alienware. Overheating and what not.

Clevo have some niceones

OCUK sell some clevo ones I think , I have one with Dual GTX465m its pretty good

well quite lazy to rely only on people here :>
i7 4700 or higher
16Gb of ram should be plenty
and GPU gaming has a massive spectrum so dunno which chip would be enough...if 765 MSI has a nice choice, if need more custom options then OCUK Clevo based...Alienware nice and all but for same spec you have to splash few hundreds more..

I thought that's one of the reasons why forums were designed? To seek advice.

Follow that link for a really good review on the GT70 Pro. It compares it to an Alienware 18 sporting the 780M for comparison from past to current GPU.
