As the title says, please spec me a nice large old skool comfy arm chair that I can sink into on an evening for hours on end while watching the television.
I bought a brand new electric reclining three-piece suite (1x two seater & 2x arm chairs) for my new build house but I'm finding the arm chairs uncomfortable after a short while. I'm also finding this typical with nearly all recliner-type arm chairs when looking around the sofa shops. So, I'm just looking for a normal type arm chair, not a reclining type. Needs to be able to sink into when I sit down and the arms of the chair need to be high as they always seem quite low on the average recliner-type chair these days which I don't like. Also needs a high back to support the head.
Here is a photo of my old comfy arm chair still at my old house...(spoiler) I've had it since 2012 and I bought it from a BHF charity shop so I have no idea how actually old it is or where it originally came from, although it was in a better condition back then.
Also if nothing is available, do you think having my old comfy chair reupholstered would work?
