Hi,
I am looking for a new printer and laser seems the best way to go.....I need it to be colour and also to have wireless if that is not to much in price difference from one with wireless and one without..Budget around 100-120..
So without naming competitors..What model and brands are the best around my budget and then i will do the searching.

replacement ink / drum / head costs.

Look for costs per page in reviews (and remember colour costs per page are based on less than 25% cover so if you are printing whole pagers of colour your costs ^^^^^^^)

I am not too worried about them as it wont be worked very hard at all.....So what models do you recommend for say around £70,black and white with wireless if possible

You won't get wireless on a black laser for that price!

You can buy wireless print servers, but why do you need wireless?

I have an HP P1006 and got around 1000 pages from the starter cart. Available on the highstreet. Compatibles are £18 each. Good printer, fast, and is just standard USB.

Bump!!! still havent found a laser printer....so anyone got any recommendations...needs to be wireless and bang for buck eg pages per cartridge etc...thanks guys

You are after wireless, colour laser for £100 - £120

It cannot be done! Unless you buy 2nd hand.
The carts are pricey (4 carts @ 15-20 quid each compatibles).
You may be able to get a monochrome wireless . . . .

For high volume printing in black & white, a Mono laserjet is the way to go. Colour Laserjet's are very expensive to run. Hook it up to your network and it will become wireless (in a sense). lol !

If you want to go 2nd hand, I would recommend the HP 1320 printer.
You can get wireless versions, which obviously cost a bit more!

I have the HP 1320tn, (I bought the add on 3rd tray for it)
It comes with Duplex as standard, single tray (Tray 1 is a single sheet feeder).
Toner is cheap (£25 for comaptible carts).
Get one with the lowest page count you can. Service manuals are available free online, in case drum / fuser needs changing in the future.

Good printer.

thanks mate...its only for homework and the such but my parents when they want to print anything just click print and we end up with about 20 pages worth of colour printing for one thing...

I have a Borther Mono Inkjet the 2030 model and it is fantastic for standard B&W prints! Toner still going strong after many essays!!

Some of the asmmy ones get decent feedback.
Theres also an offer on at the moment on another site where the printers are actually BOGOF. might be worth a look ?
