Got your attention.........

I seriously chuckle at some of the spec me a this or spec me a that threads but how long till someone asks the title of this thread.

I undertsand wanting advice on putting a rig together for a set budget and advice for certain other items but jeans, ashtrays, matresses etc:rolleyes:

Some things you just have to touch and try yourself.
 
Jon.bda created a thread like this a few weeks back.. it didn't go down well then though ;)

I agree though.. but I think everyone else must since somone created the " Spec me a thread " thread a few days back,

sometimes spec me threads are fine, but other times.. rather silly :o
 
In total agreement. We should have one of them 'official' threads for all things 'spec me' related.

Or, people could just get a grip and head to the shops like everyone else. Ask shop assistants, that's what their paid for.
 
I don't object to 'spec me' threads. There is always someone out there more knowledgeable than you are, and i'd rather get advice from people on here than some monkey in a shop.

Not that i've ever started a spec me thread, but you get my point :)

EDIT! just noticed that sale has completed i swear i read in nuts the other week about a guy doing that but the sale wasnt starting untill june so that he could raise enough interest
