Following on from my "tempted to delete everything" thread (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18182657) thoughts are rife once again about being sat here staring at the PC having done NOTHING constructive with my free time yet again.

What is there to do though, my mind is so numb from being sat here I feel like I've forgotten how to entertain myself without the use of a PC or TV.

Its the beginning of that time of year when everything outside is getting wetter and colder, yet I find myself yearning for something else to do beside sitting in a pair of jogging bottoms, munching on toast whilst reading OCUK.

Arghgh..

build a house?

seriously though i find if i'm stuck in my house and can't focus on work or doing anything, tidying and doing those stupid little jobs around the house is the best way to get motivated again. once i pu away that first item i find i can't stop and i'll end up doing all sorts of random things as i notice something else that needs doing. once i'm done i feel much better that i've achieved something even if it's small and then can re-focus on other less motivating stuff again

Gym, thats what I did in the same situation and not only does it prevent boredom but I can see the effect on my body

Other than that, clean tidy, go shopping, wash the car, you know, normal stuff

Got the gym later today, I am going out for lunch in a bit.
Already got the track car in the garage, finished (apart from needing tyres again :o )
Already built BBQ, Pergola, Ornamental, structures, dug and designed pond and waterfall.
Scuba used to be OK in the UK but it's cold and wet even before you get in. Technical diving in the UK sucks now (been there done that, got the fingers so cold you can't get out of your own gear without help) I've become a southern shandy drinking puff now and prefer warmer waters with fish in it ;)

Find a local indoor rock climbing centre and rock climb.

That way you can both keep fit AND entertained (plus rock climbing womens are hawt!), as well as get prepared for the warm season when you can adventure out around the country (or even world) to climb outside.

Cheltenham used to have one called Chapel rock. (based in an old church)
It's now a trendy bar :(

Edit* changed again, it's now a Trendy Spa.
