Depends on the level of anonymity you require. For me, I just don't want the average civil servant being able to check my internet history. I guess if you're trying to avoid GCHQ's roving eyes, then you could go down the bitcoin etc. route. You would have to start using a TOR build etc. then though, for it to be worthwhile.Pure VPN is looking the best from what I have read. They have a 3 day trial for $2.50. I may try it. Also, should I be paying in bitcoin or gift cards or is that a bit extreme?
Just to clarify: I don't do that, but I used to know plenty of people that did that sorta stuff in old companies...
but then i am talking about back pre-2000 when everyone in IT was always down the pub... That said, I look at file permissions in places today and can see exactly who can/can't see data - and there are always administrators...
