I find I went over 2m, but only just. 3m to be safe as you can get it wrong and have to re cut.

I was planning doing something similar to your HAX F liquid cooling and build log (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18272330&page=5)
Before the Graphics card watercooling but mounting the pump near the power supply.

If I did it again, I'd chane the pump too to make it suspended
