Spec me a machine for use with virtualisation

I'm in need of a machine capable of running at least 8 instances of vmware / virtual pc. Main host OS will be vista and the instances will be XP. I'm after something that will be:

- Stable
- Decent performance
- Quiet with reasonably low power usage
- Budget £700 max not including monitor and software

Not too fussed about graphics as I wont be using it for gaming.

Any suggestions?

Looks good but do you think it might be worth going with 8gig of ram? Would there be a noticeable difference?
