Spec me: A Mattress

We bought our bed from Tesco Direct.

Kingsize storage bed (flips up from bottom or side) - £450
Pocketsprung matress with memory foam topper - £350

Exchanged clubcard vouchers, so had £100 off. Feels amazing.

Just so you know if a bed shop says theirs a sale on don't believe it as almost all bed shops have a "sale" on. Also shops will often say its the last one or it "should be" priced so so meaning they make you think damn that's a bargain.

Dammit, I missed that one from my rant!

Has anybody been into a bed or furniture shop that isn't having a SALE? Technically the sweetshop down the road is having a sale on Mars bars. They're no cheaper than anybody else, and haven't been reduced or anything, but they are on SALE.

We have the following

This thing is fantastic but quite expensive, the RRP on our one is 6k due to the size but I think a normally size one can probably be found or 2k in the sales.

In the other rooms we foam mattresses, Tempur HD in one and Ergo flex in the other.

The ergoflex cost only around 500 quid comported to 2k for the Tempur and to be honest the temper a little better but not much.

I got my mattress from Bedworld online where it was quite significantly discounted compared with what I could get it elsewhere. Delivery and customer service were pretty good too.

But, don't just buy a mattress/bed online. Go and try it in a store first, then buy it online for less. You should always try mattresses before you buy.
