Looking for something that will stream HD stuff from my PC. Been using and Xbox (XBMC) for years now and still love it but it the lack of ability to stream HD is beginning to bug me a little.

I've had a look at the Popcorn Hour A-100 but they are like rocking horse poo.

Any others to recommend chaps?

I'm using a wired network as well btw.

Im in the same situation, and was also looking at the popcorn a100....I know pinnacle and buffalo do some simmilar units, a bit pricey for the 1080/HD ones tho...

The TVIX thing looks ok, but it looks like more of a portable hard drive than a streaming network player....and the price...ouch

The Tvix does'nt support DRM'd files either which wont help me much with my music.

Looks like the only other proper option is a HTPC (again ) but the hassle of having to build a comp, install, attempt to get media center working with various codecs etc simply doesn't appeal...

I've also checked the buffalo / netgear units and after doing some homework, the support, firmware bugs, file recognitions & setups of those worry me a little.

Anyone happy with what they are using?

Well my mate uses pinnacle showcenter 200? cant remember, but it works well if you ditch the bundled software and use the neuston media center software. dosent do full HD it gets downscaled, but is fine for all your AVI's, divx etc.

Looks like the popcorn is the way to go if you want the real deal 1080/HD capability.
