Spec me a media player

How slick is the interface on your Dune HD Max? My main gripe with the WDTV Live is the interface at times can be slow and clunky.[/QUOTE]

+1 to that , went for both pi and wdtv , wdtv is great and easy , dunno about pi as it is not here yet. Dune HD does look great , way outta my price range tho :(

I have no problems with the interface at all. Going from a pch a110 it seems faster, but then it has a better chipset.

Zappiti works very nice with it.

Hmm, interesting. I went from a PCH A-110 to a A-210, then to a WDTV Live back to a A-110 for a week and now I'm trying a Apple Tv 2 with XBMC. Although that only turned up today so not had a chance to play.

I have yet though to find a perfect system for me and whilst the WDTV Live is an improvement over the A-110 in terms of UI (Popcorn Hours weakest area imho) the lag on the WDTV Live is a lot more noticeable when switching files, navigating etc, even if it is more polished UI. The A-210 would be my pick of what I've used in the past couple of years, however the price and single years warranty is a little off putting though.

In other news my Raspberry Pi turned up today, great service from CPC and invoiced for £29.95 SlugForAButt! ;)

One good reason I bought the HD Max was I got it via finance. Buy now pay in 9 months :)

For me it really is a step up from the A110 in every direction.
