Spec me a mic

I've never been a fan of gaming with headsets (uncomfortable on my head plus I like to have the radio on in the background) so I'm after a mic I can use for gaming.
Has to be free standing, decent range so I don't need to move and under £40. I don't mind going second hand.

If not; you might be able to get one second hand for less.
