To fit a Peugeot 306 (but should all be universal right?)
I've heard a few can be pretty dodgy, and to just go with a high volume eBay seller, but anyone got anything else to add?

Plan to use it with the torque app mostly to begin with, but what other fun things are out there that it can do?

I went through Amazon (on account of not using eBay) and got one of the blue Mini ELM327 v1.5 adaptors, works ok (took a few attempts to pair initially) and happily accepts the higher polling rate option in Torque which I think many of the Micro ones don't.

I got this one though the seller has changed since I bought it http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006JJZVQE

I clicked on that link and apparently i ordered that one too November last year :D

Works great for me, tried it in lots of different cars with Torque on my phone and also straight into my laptop via bluetooth.

Edit - just to add its saved me hassle/potential a ruined day, while i was doing a track day i had my engine management light come on, pop the adaptor in and it was just an oxygen sensor so cleared the fault and carried on hooning around the rest of the day and ordered a new sensor that night. Without a reader it would have been day over!
