just the base unit needed, has to use this case

and I don't want any RGB in it if it can be helped. can we fit a 4080 super in here?
337mm x 62mm x 180mm (Normal, 3.0 Slot thick), 357mm x 79mm x 180mm (Expansion, 3.9 Slot thick)...size of gpu, so yes, some will fit
msi ventus 3x is 322x136x62
I'd just go for the 4080SFE...310x 140x 61

Looking at the dimensions a 4080 super should fit.

Just picking any the asus tuf one is 300x120x50

The case says Gpu max size is
357x180x79 if using the expansion slot and slightly smaller if not.

If it’s purely for gaming then 7800x3d and 4080 super would be lovely.

sorry, had to double check as the tuf i thought was big....that's the pro art at 300x120x50, which is a good shout actually..it's a small slim card..
the tuf is a 3.5 slot so would need the expansion as it's 348.2x150x72.6...and I'm not going to try and build in that itx case...I'll leave it to someone who's done it before  ...it looks squishy to me..but agree 7800x3d efficiency/low cooling requirements made for small cases

the 9800X3D will launch in the not too distant future.

I expect it’ll be more power efficient as per the current releases but nothing astoundingly different from the 7800X3D.

think you pretty much got it..looking at case, comes with psu and cooling/fans etc..always good when i search for mini itx mobo and the ocuk website only comes up with the x670e version for £400...

I'd skip the 990 pro..you wont see any speed increase and the sn850x is fast also...if you're spending that much mightas well go whole hog and get the 4tb version...the mobo only has 2 slots anyway..or if you shop elsewhere the adata s70 blade 2tb is £122 (7400/6800 read write with 1480tbw endurance, 5yrs warranty etc)..oir just a 2tb sn770 still 5k read and it's £103
the 6000c36 is cheaper and you wont notice any difference...or spend a bit more, £143 with get you 48gb 2x24 6000c36, though all 48gb sticks seem to be xmp..i think 32gb is fine, but others seems to be specking 64gb now, where you can get corsair 64gb 6000c30 expo for £206.99

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £487.97 (includes delivery: £0.00)
