hi, after playing a lot of rift i have become very bored of it and need a new mmo game to play, i know the elder scrolls is getting ready for release and that will be my new game, but need something to mess about with in the meantime

any suggestions welcome - i dont do pay to win, but dont mind paying monthly subs
 
Well the best MMOs on the market are arguably Guild Wars 2, WoW, TSW, Aion, TERA and maybe Lotro.

The one out of them that is like Rift is WoW, and that should keep you happy until TESO release quite easy.
 
Just play LotRO in the meantime as you won't need to spend a single penny and then move onto ESO.
 
thanks, its just that im at home a lot nowadays and im bored out my skull with nothing to do, will try lotro, i played tera and thought it was really good but at the time the eu severs was crap with no update patches so i knocked it on the head.

my mate has diablo 3 and i have played a lot of hours at his house. wildstar beta key? have no idea where to get one but i'll give google a bash. swtor have heard nothing but bad rep from it, i was gonna get it but was put off.
 
ToR is fine, the leveling process and class story are great fun and more than enough to sink some time into your bad choice is out (:p). Choose IA though as it has the best story.

Failing that, mess around with somthing like Torchlight or Path of Exile.
 
They are having a few giveaways for stress tests, it’s basically set in sci-fi and it uses the holy trinity (tank, healer dps) you have your usual Battle grounds for PvP, later on you have 5 man adventures (level 15) 5 man dungeons Level 20 and end game they offer arenas, 2v2 3v3 5v5 and 40man raids.

You have your exiles and dominion both with 4 races, and classes specific to each race. Also you have paths that are separate to your level and xp.

Also you can build your own house!

Also ESO is a bad choice!

I never thought I would ever say this ( :( :( :( ) but steer well clear of LotRO, it's been dumbed down so much it's just not worth the effort, also looking at the number of the development team that Turbine have just laid off it's now in it's death throws and I suspect about to be wound down by Turbine (get ready for Server amalgamations which can't be far off now)
 
Play through Neverwinter or one of the other F2P games like SWTOR

SWTOR isnt a bad game for a month and the Storyline is pretty good, though its F2P model is annoying last time i looked.

Neverwinter is ok and you could play for a month and have a laugh.

Hell you can play EQ2 or a million other MMO for free now as well.
