Hey all,

Trying to spec something up for a mate to upgrade. He's on 775 and feels its time to upgrade.

He's already got a GPU, PSU OS etc so it's just the core components.

I specced something up on my lunch one day but I can't remember for the life of me what I specced and if it was compatible (Chose IvyBridge tho) as I'm unsure with all the new intel chipsets I havn't really kept upto speed.

So to recap:

Ivybridge CPU and Mobo (for gaming but he's not be on overclocking)
RAM (prefer 8GB)
Case
SSD

Can you help?

1/ Budget?
2/ What's his current GPU and PSU (make/model)?
3/ How much does he want to spend on the case? Does he want a budget case (circa £30) or a half decent case (circa £50-100)?

Would these suffice? (I.E compatible and whatnot?)
