hi guy's and girl's,

It's another spec me thread but this time it's just for a mobo :).

I have got already,

i5 2500K SB ome.
8gb Corsair XMS3 1600mhz.
ATI 6950 flashed to 6970
120GB SSD
PSU Antec 650w

As you can see all i need is a mobo but i am a little lost on what the best mobo is out there.

I have £100 maybe a push to £120 for it can someone spec a really good one please, I will be overcloking the cpu to the max but i will be watercooling it from day 1.

I have been looking at this mob as i am a fan of MSI,
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-170-MS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1906
is there any better one's out there for this price or not?
also i will need it to be crossfire as i want to CF my 6950.

Thanks

And I think one of the main differences between the GD53 and G45 is the inclusion on the former of MSI's OC Genie II.

If you look here and here, on the bottom left hand side of the pics of the mobo. You can see on the GD53 three blue circles, these are the Genie function.

EDIT: although saying that, the G45 page does say it has OC Genie II despite me not being able to see it on the board anywhere

yup. This is the posh version, mostly geared towards overclocking with more VRMs and better heatsink. More SATA 3 and USB 3 iirc as well.

IMO, the GD53 is the pick of the bunch, considering the price. Does 8x 8x (looking at the specs from manufacturer). Even x8 x4 isn't too shabby for SLI / XFire. Should overclock fairly well too.

If you want big overclocks, or want more SATA 6GB ports (and USB3?), the GD65 should allow you to push further.
