SLi support for 775 is a bit shaky I gather, the only decent chipset is the latest 790, which is quite steep, the earlier chipsets are rumoured to have a few stability issues. So depends how much you fancy spending really. The cheapest 790 is £220, the cheapest that supports SLI fullstop is £103, but it uses an older, less stable chipset. options, this is only rumour on the stability side of things, not personal experience. Are you wanting SLI as you already have 2 NVidia cards? Or for a future upgrade? If the latter Id personally recomend just stick with a P43/P45 chipset for now
Socket 775 is going to be replaced by 1366 eventually so there is no point investing 100s of pounds into something that is gonna go away soon.
On top of that your E4300 is not going to make the most of SLi.
To sum up with your current CPU there is little or none point going SLi and spending a lot of SLi mobo.
If I were you I would buy P35 or P45 chipset mobo without SLi support and spent the rest on more powerful single GPU card.
