right time to upgrade the mobo
I have a really cheap mobo right now, and it's functional, i don't have plans to upgrade or anything, but it may be holding back my system (as my cpu was not supported, and had to do a bios update), so the mobo predates the cpu by a long time.. perhaps the quad core isn't even utilised.. is that even possible?
So I'm looking for a case, so if I'm going to be upgrading the case it makes sense to get a new mobo as well.
My specs
HD4870 gfx PCI: Express 2.0 x16 bus interface
2 sata hard drives and one sata dvd-rw
2x2gb ddr2-800 ram
Intel q9400 (LGA775 P45 interface)
What would be the best mobo to get for this system?
