spec me a moby please!

hi guys

currently got a K750i with an annoying joystick problem, you know the one where it doesnt move left ot down, needs about 50 tries before it does! anyway i wanna send it back for warranty repair and it will take 2 weeks for it to come back, when it does im gona give it to my wife. Im using my old 8310 at moment, shame it doesnt have bluetooth otherwise it will be perfect - bar the camera!

so... i need a new mobile! needs to have a 2mp, bluetooth NO JOYSTICK, easy to text, fast menus.

doesnt have to be the best on the market, i.e n80, n73, k800i

what kind of a bargain mobile do you lot recommend? most probably will be buying used/sim free.

the only one i can think of is the SE W810i, but they go for like £160 on ebay! anything around bit cheaper?

if you are not looking for performance i am just guessing that something like the samsung d500 would suite you fine, seems to be a good phone and a lot of people still like to use them.

d500 would be fine apart from the lack of 2mp camera which the op wants/needs.

I would say, dont worry about the joystick trouble you've had with the k750i, and go for the k800i. Its a really impressive piece of kit ( said that loads since i got it ) and the joystick feels a lot tougher than the k750's.

If your dead against the idea of the joystick there is the w810i/d600/e900 et all that would suit ya fine.

I got a 6233 after my k750i, i love it.

Its ticks all your boxes but does have one downside, no light on the camera.

Looks good too imo

shame no light, i actually used my light quite a lot on the k750i! not for pics, but as a torch lol,

even the nokia's with lights are useless lol! i cant get the light to stay on on my N70.

whats your phone like functionality wise sp00n? i preshume its symbian

Yea its a good phone, series 40 software with all the functionality i could ever need on a phone.

I used to use the light all the time on my k750 so its gonna be hard to get used to not having one but the phone itself is awesome

I hate the series 40 software with a passion. After using lots of older nokias, series 60 phones and samsungs. I even find SE software so much more intuitive. I would go for the w810, or if you want something more up to date then the K610...no joysticks. I dont know where you get your mobiles from but you can just send them in for repair if the joystick goes. then you can have the swish K800i!
