Looking for a modular psu to power

1 290 (with enough room to upgrade to crossfire at some point)
8320 @ 4.5
8gb ram

Looking for something reasonably priced...

£60 - £80 if possible!

Cheers

If it'll cost that that's what I will have to spend, do you have any other recommendations?

Also looking for some ram for overclocking 8320...

Cheers!

I've sold 4gb of it with the my pc and I'm sending the rest back. The only reason I'm finally upgrading is because I discovered that one of the RAM slots on my motherboard was broken, that paired with the inability to use SSDs was the final straw.

Am I pretty much just looking for anything of a repetable brand that offers 2400 ram? I've found a few.

I also read on Linus Techtips that (within reason) ram speed doesn't equate to all that much and that it only really depends on the ammount you have, how true would you see this to be in terms of overclocking? Would having faster ram automatically mean I find it easier

Also found a 1000w bequiet psu for £135, how are those?

Cheers

I'm using the K2 mount doom. I saw that deal on ram earlier.

I could in theory mount one fan towards the exhaust but I'm concerned it'll make my cpu run hotter.

While I'm here I might get some thermal paste rather than the supplied stuff, whats good?

Also thinking about a mechanical keyboard but have no idea what I'm looking at...

cheers!

I ordered the lowprofile ram earlier along with the superflower psu.

I'm assumming I'll get the same stuff with the cooler. Is it worth spending money on arctic silver anymore?

ignore me, I thought the k2 was made by prolimatech...
