Spec me a monitor (for gaming)

well ive just got money back from rma'ing my gtx 580 lightning xe died with the 180 nvidia drivers

so im getting its ati cousin MSI ATI Radeon HD 6970 OC Lightning 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

need a monitor as one i have atm is hopeless for gaming.

i dont no much about monitor tech so need advice as to how much i should be spending for a decent gaming monitor and whats peoples opinions on things like 3d 120hz and 1920x1200.

Whats your budget? Im personally waiting for the BenQ XL2420T to arrive, but it depends on how long you want to wait. Im sure PCM2 will be a long to give some insight (Monitor Guru

i've just purchased a Samsung S23A700D (less attractive cousin of the S23A750D) and it's brilliant. 120Hz goodness and amazing picture quality and colours imo.
