Spec me a monitor please :)

Hi all,

I'm looking to pick up a 4k monitor to replace my old one. My budget is around £400.

I use my PC for both work (mainly word processing and presentations) and gaming.

I've been looking at these:

Or, should I go with a nice 1080p monitor? I'm not fussed about it being 144Hz, but I do care about clarity and image quality.
