Looking for a new monitor but confused as to what will offer me the best experience.
I use it for work, drafting using autocad 2013, which I can't see being updated anytime soon.
I also use it for general media consumption with the odd bit of PC gaming...non competitively.
I want to also use it for xbox 1s gaming.
I'm currently using a 24" 1080p 60hz TN monitor (AOC - will fill in model later).
I don't think the size is an issue and not sure what grunt my GTX 970 has - again, not wanting to upgrade any time soon as it's fine for a bit of casual gaming every so often.
One thing I noticed yesterday while playing World of Tanks on the Xbox 1 S is the screen isn't very bright, but not sure if it's just because it's positioned right in front of a window, with no other place to put it.
I don't want to spend a lot and wondered if it's even worth upgrading. I quite like the idea of the 27" 1440p monitors but not sure how well these work with older versions of autocad and also how it will look on the xbox as I don't think it supports 1440p.
Any advice appreciated.
