Ok the usual thread. my current monitor went bang and I dont think its n warrenty. I need a new one, flatscreen, for £150 budget. Used for films, games, hd. so needs to be good quality blacks and sharp edges.

my first thought is of Dell E197FP 19" LCD Monitor - Black
just a couple of quid over my budget, and people on here keep raving about dell monitors.

that does look nice. but hows the old 300 brightness work out? Cause I'll be split between watching films in the dark / light, and playing games in dark / light

*edit hmm reading a lot of reviews all round. It seams I may have made a bad choice! Does anyone hae this monitor and have 1st hand experiance of how it is?

Next question. choice between these two:
