Spec me a monitor!

I've decided that after using my friends computer the other night, I need to get a new monitor. I currently have a 19" AG Neovo F-419...which has served me well, but I wanna go for a widescreen. The monitor my friend has isn't made anymore, so I've had a look around and found this:

Samsung SM2333SW 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor

So really, I was wondering if anyone has used/owns one of these and would recommend or suggest an alternative

edit: i actually have that monitor its very good but its more dependent to whether u realli need 2048x1152 i dont but ive bought it now so nvm

Samsung are good monitors, they also are the Bang & Olufsen suppliers (5% of the top spec Samsung screens). The one you have chosen is a full HD monitor and should serve you well.

Wait, B&O do PC moniters?

I'm a bit of a fanboy, I grew up with some of their kit. It's a real pity nowadays that for what they churn out, they're heavily, heavily over priced. A bit like e.g. Bose.

Yes B&O use Samsung panels - for TVs not monitors.

Thanks for the comments, I think I shall be investing in one of these bad boys in the next few days, now all I gotta do is find a decent Ford Mustang wallpaper that fits a widescreen

i have the 22" version at 1680x1050.

Like everyone else has said they are lovely monitors.

But mine has a dead pixel... (its black not stuck) And Samsung will not replace it.
Its not too bad as its in the corner and I can live with it... Although its a bit ****y when they say there have to be at least 8 before they consider replacing it.

Just something to think about.

I have bought a 2433bw recently, its 24" of pure sexyness. It really is a lovely monitor. 1920x1200 resolution is nice! I seem to remember its not much more than the 23" you looked at also.
