My 7 year old 17 inch seems to have given up the ghost so it's time for a new monitor. The monitor will be used for watching films, playing poker and web browsing so gaming performance isn't an issue. I've got around £100 - £150 to spend but I would consider spending a bit extra if it would get me something a lot better.
I've got an Acer 6930G laptop which has a 9600M GT graphics card. For some reason the Nvida website doesn't mention what resolution the card will support. Would I be correct in assuming that it should support the same resolutions as the 9600 GT and that I shouldn't have any problems using any of the monitors in my price range at their native resolution?
I was considering going for this but I was wondering if anyone had any better suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
