Spec me a monitor

Ok, trying to find a monitor (duh).
Looking for somewhere between 20" and 24", preferably led backlit, 1080p and built in speakers (yes i know they suck, but i tend to use headphones 90% of the time and only use the speakers to show a friend a youtube video).
Not worried about price too much, just having trouble finding one.

BenQ V2210 seems to be the front runner atm, but not 100% sure on the brand.

Cheers for any light you can put on this.

24" BenQ EW2420 or BL2400PT maybe. Be wary there are a lot of quality control issues with these monitors, but if you do manage to get a good unit, they're apparently very good.

Well, what are you going to use it for? The Ew2420 is probably great if you don't do a lot of fast paced gaming.
If you do a lot of gaming you might want to go for a TN-panel instead.

It'll mainly be for gaming, occasional movie.
Had another look today and thinking possibly a Samsung XL2370HD.
Built in tv tuner (so has speakers), led backlit, good response times.

Anyone tried one of these?

Is there any particular reason you want or need a LED backlit screen? Aside from saving a bit of energy/money in the long term, there are minimal gains over conventional CCFL backlit screens.

mainly because i had my nieces new netbook sitting next to my samsung 205bw and the whites on the samsung looked yellow compared to the led screen XD
