1) LG W2363D - This is a 120Hz monitor that is extremely responsive and has zero input lag - so will be great for gaming and also works with Nvidia's 3D Vision technology. On the downside, it uses a TN panel, so the colours shift when you move your head off centre and the black level isn't great. Here is a review.
2) Dell U2311H - This is a 60Hz monitor, but its main selling point is its high quality E-IPS panel (compared to TN this offers extremely wide viewing angles - so colours don't shift when you move your head- and very accurate colours). This monitor is also rather responsive and has low-input lag (though not quite to the same degree as the LG). Here is a review.
Purely for gaming, the LG is probably the best choice. However, the Dell is a better all-round monitor with better image quality and MANY people have this monitor on the forum and find it great to play games on.
