Looking for a DisplayPort capable monitor, 24 inches, ideally with other inputs such as HDMI, with a fast response time as I will be using it for gaming amongst other things.

If I could get 120Hz or IPS that would be great but I also want it to be reasonably cheap, £150-£200 kind of range. Any ideas? Just names would be great doesn't have to be one that Overclockers sells...

Or some other option, I have a Radeon 6950 and a DVI-D display and a VGA display, at the moment I have the DVI display connected through Mini-DP and the VGA connected to a DVI slot with an adaptor, if i can get a setup with another monitor that isn't display port then I would do that, not sure how the whole displayport thing works, I've heard that you can only have a certain number of displays in a certain layout but not quite sure what that is.

2 monitors is no problem, the third has to be displayport directly or you have to use an active displayport to whatever converter. As you already have 2 monitors hooked you will want the third one to have a native displayport connection (or ~20 quid for an active converter).

I can only find one monitor that size that doesn't have an IPS or M-VA panel. The Acer B243PHymdr, not the most popular monitor as I can't find any review. You'd be better off getting the Iiyama E2473HDS and a HIS Active Mini DisplayPort to Single Link-DVI Eyefinity Adapter . Then you at least know you have a good monitor (and cheap as well while the weekly special lasts).

Alright then, thanks very much :) are you sure that adaptor would work well? Thanks for your help anyway :D i'm not specifically looking for non IPS, just one that is good for gaming and is not too expensive. I will be looking to buy June time so i'll look around for which monitors to get closer to then.
