Spec me a monitor

Hey guys

Looking for some guidance with monitor choice. I would like a dual setup that I can connect to my PC and use if possible with my MacBook Pro. Looking for 27", budget of around £1000. Mainly photo editing and a little bit of gaming.

What would you recommend?

I just bought the Dell U2713 after ages of searching around. Its a great IPS screen and doesn't put out any heat which is useful (the non LED backlit versions put out a lot of heat at this size...) and it has a nice matt/satin screen which for photo work is the best coating and no harsh anti glare of the CCFL version.

The other option for your budget is the Samsung 950 which is supposed to be very good, I almost bought the 850 but it seemed to be out of stock when I decided to buy mine.

Got for the dell u2713 for that price you can pick up 3 monitors i paid £360, had a 21 inch and moving to a 27 was well worth it so much room on the screen.
