Hey,
With the Quads now at a low-low price, I'm thinking of upgrading soon. I have to do a full upgrade though, as I'm on a 939. So here's what I basically want:
  • Would like a mobo with high CPU OCing potential
  • Need 2GB Ram
  • Don't need SLI/Crossfire support
  • Don't want to spend any more than £90 on mobo and £100 on RAM.
Anyone have any suggestions for what to buy? :)
Thanks
Seb

If you caqn stand the colour of the heatspreaders http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-088-CR&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=144 (it overclocks way above it's rated speed at lower latency/higher voltage).
Of course you can pay more for the 6400 labelled version or for http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-013-GS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813

As for mobo the best chipset atm for clocking quads is P35 & abit, Asus & Gigabyte all appear to have good boards. Just depends upon which exact features that you want & personal preference.
