Ok, I just got a Intel Core 2 Q6600 G0 and put it into my EVGA nforce 680i mobo (bought day of release). Then read somewhere that this mobo is rubbish at overclocking a quad. And I agree it worked fine with my duo but is a severe let down on the quad front.
So....I need a new mobo....
I want it to have no less features than the EVGA board but have good overclocking potential with quads. I'm a bit of an NVIDIA fanboy so like the nforce chipset but if someone can talk me round I'm willing to look at other chipsets.
Money isn't really a problem.
Also...how much is the old board worth on the members market?
