Hi All,
Just about to start on a new build and should be ordering a custom water cooling kit very soon. :D

My question is this, I have spec'ed myslef a QX9770 1600fsb processor, and a pair of BFG 9800 H2OC GTX graphics cards, but i am unsure what Motherboard to get? I Have been looking at the Asus Striker 2 Extream but have also read that there has been a few problems with it! (A dificult Birth if you will )

Have these problems been sorted? if not what Motherboard would be best? and please bear in mind that i will be wanting to run water on the chipset as well
Look forward to your advice.

Dave

EDIT...
I forgot to mention that i also do a lot of photoshop work as well as gaming and will be using 8Gb of ram (pref DDR3), so will be running Vista Ultimate x64

JUst avoid the ASUS 790i board, and get one of the pattern 790i boards and you should be fine. The only thing is that you'll have to overclock the motherboard just to run the CPU at stock speeds.

Wouldn't an X48 motherboard eg. J&W (very soon now)/DFI/Gigabyte and a pair of 3870X2's in water-cooled CrossfireX be a faster overall system? Or even X48 with a 9800GX2, fitted with the appropriate waterblock?
