Started a new job - and the travel to work is a right pain in the arse, plus the cost pretty much tripled (3 stops further - go figure
)
They have a cycle to work policy, where you get to pay 50% of the Bike cost, deducted on a 12 month basis off your salary, no interest and tax free.
This is obviously an ideal situation that just begs for me to buy one, but I really have NO CLUE at all what I should be looking for. I know for a fact I dont like those little silly racing bike thingies and have always loved a mountainbike. When I think about it, the idea of me caning it down a mountain sounds great... but it's doubtful I would really go offroading all that much (however having the option to do so would be a bonus).
What would you guys reccomend I buy, or have assembled for me?
