Spec me a mountain bike please for the Mrs's 28th

I need your help please, i want to buy the good lady a mountain bike for her 28th birthday in april.

Budget is £200-250 max, only going to be used for lightwork peak district etc. I have been looking on the Decathlon and halfords website

Whats your thoughts

Will only need front suspension i should imagine

Whats your thoughts? What the best bike/ gear set etc i can get for this money??

She is only slim, 9st wet. Do i need to buy her a proper ladies frame ?? or does it matter??

Yes it needs to be new, and no its not my way of telling her she is fat lol, going to hopefully spend the weekends on our bikes, enjoying the views and getting some exercise.

Evans have a Pinnacle at £224, Decathlon have their own B twin rockrider at £229, im not sure what gearset is better on which bike?? whats my other options for this price point??
