hehe that is the thing about mice, it's personal pref. i like the bulkyness (use to love intellimouse but too flat for me now) and tracked well on my icemat

althrough I have used a G5 before and liked it, what ever floats your boat really some ppl don't like the "shape" or feel lol.

I'm gonna go with the Logitech MX518, quite a bit cheaper, still very popular with people and will enable me to get a nice mat into the bargain.
