howdy im looking for a new mouse and pad, im currently using my trusty old razer diaomondback 1600dpi, got it in 2004 and my qpad and they are still going strong but just well a bit tired really 
im looking for something similar, something that's blue or even just plain black but black and blue + on the pad would be a bonus, 1600dpi or around that as I don't even use this at fully maximum settings its at 9/10 on speed, so im guessing that's like 1500dpi right?
so any suggestions? also don't need all them fancy buttons etc on the side. this has 4 buttons on it and iv never used them.

edit: just did a quick calculation, I used to use 1200Dpi on 1680 res (diamondback was at 7.5/10 on slider), now I use 1440 Dpi on 1920 res (9/10 on slider), and at that dpi im going exactly same speed on the screen with my curser left and right haha and both speeds I had 480 unused pixels at the edge or 240 pixels either side with 1 inch of movement, so I like to move my hand 1.25 inch to get across the screen no matter what resolution. intresting and even more intresting that I didn't even calculate it when I got my new monitor, I just knew what speed to set it at by using the mouse after a few mins and then it works out to be the same speed haha, clever things us humans eh
