I'm looking for a new mouse to replace my MX Air and was thinking of the Logitech Performance Mouse MX or the Razer Mamba. I've read mixed reviews about this saying the battery life isn't great and Razer products have a short life span. Is this true?
I've had the MX Air for 4 years and I've had no problems with but it's starting to show it's age now and it seems to lag occasionally which is very annoying.
I'm not a hardcore gamer. I play mostly FPS and adventure games a few times a week but I also use the internet and programs like Photoshop and FL STudio.
I don't really understand what this DPI means (if someone would care to explain?) and how important it is for gaming. I think the MX Air has 800dpi but I've been happy with it for gaming. Would I notice much improvement on the Mamba?
Also, does it work on glass mouse pads? I'm using the MX Air on a CorePad which works just fine.
