Spec me a mouse please.

I just got the new deathaddrr 2013 today coming from a g400 which lasted me 3 months then previously before that I had deathadder 3.5 black edition which I had for few years!

The new 2013 edition is the best mouse I've used since the old IME 3.0...

Looking forward to playing bf3 all weekend with it!

Bought a G400 very recently. Great mouse, probably the best I've used thus far due to the superior build quality vs the Deathadder. The Deathadder had a decent build quality, and it also had a thicker mouse wheel which I prefer, but overall I side with the G400 by a shade.

In order of preference :

1. Logitech G400
2. Razer Deathadder
3. Gigabyte M6900
4. G5
5. OCZ Equalizer

Love my G5 and G500. Im so used to the shape and feel of theese mice now, i find it hard to get on with anything else. That and logitech's sterling customer service. My G500 is a replacement for one of my G5's that died, it was just out of warranty but they still replaced it for free.

I want to get a RAT 9 wireless but hate using a mat. Anyone know if they work ok just on the formica surface of my desk? Have heard they are a bit touchy about what they do work on.

my brother and I both have Razer mice, both have been disappointed by the build quality of the buttons

Love Razer design but their drivers always disappoint me.

Have a RAT 7 and a RAT 9 ATM, awesome mice, i haven't had any trouble with different surfaces.

Always thought the ridiculous DPI the gaming mice are getting up to are becoming more and more gimmicky, since practically no one can actually use them at 7000DPI with any accuracy. What's the point of having the most precise mouse in the world if your ridiculously inaccurate at judging its movements?

This mouse is good.

Bought a RAT 7 in the end, cheap and a funky black and bronze paint job. Tracks like a very silky thing on silk. Lovely..
