Hey guys,
Asked about a keyboard a while ago, now it's time for the mouse! Two I've looked at so far are the Performance MX and the M705. From what I've seen, this is what I think so far:
MX Pro:
- Size of the thing
- Ergonomics
- Looks
MX Cons:
- The utter CRAP battery life. What is the point of having a wireless mouse if you need to plug it in all the time? The mouse sounds absolutely perfect, apart from the **** battery life. Always gotta be something, huh?
M705 Pro:
- Same style and looks as Performance MX
- Battery life - long.
M705 Cons:
- Is smaller
- Laser on the outside edge (apparently this can cause a few issues)
I could have mentioned other things, but ergonomics, looks and battery life are the most important to me. I'm not a big PC gamer or anything (Was once a competitive halo player, so my 'hardcore' gaming involves a pad). I'm just looking for a good mouse without the annoyance of wires. The only reason I'm considering the M705 over the MX is simply because of battery life. I feel as if Logitech cheaped out on it because it could "plug n play".
To summarise, I'm looking for a very comfortable mouse with good ergonomics and size. Gaming features don't really matter but I won't turn them away.
If anyone cares, I'm currently using a Belkin glow mouse. It's served me well over the last year but the silver finish is kind of fading away, and while the glow effect is really relaxing and cool, it's time to upgrade.
