Im bored of my RAT 7, too many functions that Ill never use and its getting slightly uncomfortable.

I have no idea what grip I am, but I know that the RAT 7 on the most open setting (with the palm rest extended out as far as possible), its just right.

I was thinking Razer Deathadder, but heard some horror stories of it failing.

Steelseries Senei (or w/e its called)?

£50 budget

Deathadder's have been the next best mouse I have come across, that is other than my RAT 9.

Thus far, all the people I know (in real life that is) that own a Deathadder haven't had a problem, with most of them owning it for a good 2 years +

Must have just been some word of mouth then, the deathadder looks perfect for my grip and it looks massive.

It's definantly long enough, especially if you are maxing out the palm extension on your RAT. It's also pretty damn comfortable. I have a weird grip, halfway between clawing and using the middle of my palm to occasionally flick up/down when playing games. The Deathadder works well enough for that :P

I bought a Steelseries Xai to replace a Lachesis & then a DeathAdder, the Deathadder is a great mouse, but the Xai is far superior, certainly the best mouse I've had.

As for customer service, Razer did not impress me with theirs, when my Lachesis scroll wheel spindle broke, they wouldn't repair it, even though it was still under warranty.

The razer deathadder is a very good mouse and reasonable price my friend has one not too many gimmics but enough to get your gaming needs out of the way.

Build quality is very good he has had to replace the gripsa few times due to wear and tear but the mouse is still running strong years later

I have the Deathadder, when they fail the fix is just WD40 too. The feet wore off mine and I just got 2 new sets of feet for £10 or so. Had this mouse like 4 years now it's bloody brilliant. I was too cramped on a Logitech and it broke anyway...also the finish on it picked up every bit of dirt from my hands and it was disgusting after a few days of gaming. I like gripping the deathadder, my fingers arent cramped on it.

Imo no gimmicks, I don't even use the drivers so just plug and play.
