Looking for a good multiplayer game for me and some friends to play over a network. Having been through loads of games I cant think of any to try. So far been through the following.
Command & Conquer 3 + Kane's Wrath - Cant seem to enjoy this as it seems that its all just about tech up and spam superweapons/units. We were big fans of Red Alert 2 which was great for tank rushes and the units seemed very balanced, however cnc3 just doesnt do it for us. Still waiting for RA3
Supreme Commander - I think this is a great game but sadly not everyone can run it very well.
Company of Heroes - Only played the original v1.0. Is the expansion worth getting? any improvements?
World of Warcraft - Played this since release but we quit that and dont want to return. Currently waiting for Warhammer Online as the closed beta was good. Not really interested in AOC
Dawn of War - Loved this game at release and the first two expansions, but soulstorm was pretty rubbish and added nothing new really.
Also played CS:S, DOD:S, TF2 etc... but not everyone enjoys them.
So basically can anyone suggest something worthwhile to try? genre doesnt really matter as long as it has a good multiplayer for a LAN and Internet.
