Spec me a N access point/router?

hi guys im on virgin media cable

i have a link sys router and G rated access point

just upgraded my laptop to N wireless

wondering whether to upgrade my old access point or go the whole hog and change my router as well

any suggestions

i picked up a netgear wnr2000 router the other week
working great on my virgin cable
