Veering towards a white NC10. Has to be windows based.
However if you would like to offer your preferable alternatives, by all means please let me know.

Just one question from me though!
If I want to install CD/DVD based applications, whats the best way to do so?
(Share a CD/DVD drive from a PC on a network?)
 
NC10 for sure - it's awesome, i love mine (drunken online purchase).

As you said, share a DVD drive across the network to install things
 
Clicked 'buy now' on a black one of these last night! Decided I fancied one whilst sober but clicked when under the influence, otherwise I may have sat on the fence for too long :) £290..... bargain! Also gone for an external dvd drive and a 2gb memory stick upgrade... Should all be here tomorrow, fingers crossed...

You are absolutely right. Got the netbook today. Took it out the box to make sure everything is alright with it. And instantly fell in love with it and thats without even turning the unit on!
 
It is incredible - i took mine off charge last night, put a bit of iplayer on, 2 or 3 mins later, got into bed, started watching, it was still at 100% battery

Little things like that make me warm inside
