Im looking at buying a wireless network for my home.

1 PC (mine) is running Vista 64 bit so I will need a USB (preferably) adapter that can run in Vista 64 bit, and the PCI adapter for my Dads PC running XP Home.

I do play a lot of online games like CS:S and BF2 if that makes any diference.

I was looking at this but im not sure if the adapters work in Vista 64 bit. I may be getting a Laptop aswell so I may need a router that will allow me to access around all the house.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

You may be better of going with some Powerline type products? I've ditched my wireless and have gone for this type of network instead.

Might be worth thinking about?

Would be probabilly be a solution but my Dads PC doesnt have a Ethernet port.

I could just have the modem in my room and my PC connected via an ethernet cable to the router and my dads PC can have the wireless card in it.

Also forgot about the PS3 aswell. That needs to be connected to the router aswell.

you'll get much much better speeds from using PC cards

whether it be wireless or wired

USB adapators arent very good for speeds of any sort.

I have been looking on Netgear's website and it seems that the router and the adapters do have support for Vista 64 bit.

So I think ill see if I can purchase that router and 2 of the PCI adapters.

Anybody had any issues with them?
