Spec me a new cooler

Currently have an Corsair H100x thats started making wierd noises and i think one of the fans might be failing as well.

So looking to replace it.

What do folks recommend? Prefer an AIO cooler that uses the standard AMD mounts like my current one does.

Or should i just use the Peerless Assassin SE 120 that i have upstairs thats never been used?

Just use the Peerless Assassin, you already own it and it's more than ample for a 7800X3D.

The arctic liquid freezer 3 is a great choice I have the liquid freezer 2 and it performs very well and is great value. They have a nice long warranty too.

Peerless Assassin all day, less to go wrong and more than capable of cooling the X3D range.

If you want to go aio, then the thermalright aqua elite V3 is good value

I grabbed a Peerless Assassin for my 5600x, went from 80 - 90 C on an Artic Cooler to 50 - 70 C max. Very nice cooler to be honest.

If a Peerless Assassin can keep my 5800X3D temps in check then I’m my mind, it’ll handle anything from AMD without a problem.

Another for Peerless Assassin or similar Thermalright cooler. Thermalright makes and markets very good quality coolers with great performance at very reasonable prices.

I also bought a 5-pack of their case fans for about £15, and those are whisper quiet. Amazing value.
