OK I think I am finally reaching my last legs on World of Warcraft.

I'm just not getting the level of satisfaction from it that I used to, I have three accounts and several level 80's and some more characters being worked up to level 80 but now there is nothing "new" to do or learn and its getting tedious.

I'm thinking of stopping altogether for a while but what would fill the gap?

EVE online? If you're looking for a more in-depth MMO. Seen as how it's a squillion times harder to learn than WoW. :p

What is it you're specifically looking for?

Well the types of games I've always liked to play in the past have generally been RPG/Adventure games. Something that has a storyline to work through and some character development to work on.

I've completed all the Baldurs' Gate and Icewind Dale games, plus of course Planescape: Torment. Neverwinter Night 1 was one of my favourite games, but number two I installed recently and it has a terrible jerkiness that I just can't tolerate.

KOTOR1&2 were firm favourites too but I've not really enjoyed Mass Effect. Jade Empire rocked though.

I have accounts on LOTR, SWG and DDO but none of them are working for me either.

I dunno, maybe I just need a break from games totally for a while....

:(

The witcher was good fun. Wassn't exactly as complicated as the DnD neverwinter nights stuff though. There is that drakengard that has been raved about by some. Party based like nwn and baldurs gate. Follows the same rules I think.

And no, no you don't need a break from games. :p

When you quit wow your end up buying any game under the sun. Thats what ive done... still not found a game that I can play for weeks and months without getting bored. Not going back though!

Need to start a club for people who are suffering from quitting WoW, i've been clean for 7 months now, still miss playing.

i was in the same boat with SWG, played it for 1 year, became stinking rich, got an amazing character, fantastic house, great guild but i did literally everything the game had to offer so lost interest after a while, started WoW, got to 80, all top level epics from the 25 raids etc... then lost interest.
Im just going out with friends more, its even better than games.

Ok, looks like I can download Fallout 3 on steam. Have just connected to my computer at home and told it to start downloading and install - hope this turns out to be as good as you lot say!

:)

Play Oblivion if you like RPG's - OK not as big as WoW but still, play through a couple of different types of character then try the OOO mod and add about 50 other mods in and tailor it to what you want.

Can't beat adding the "Sauron armour" and walking around dressed as Sauron carrying a massive big mace!
