i am currently gaming on a 6950 (i should reflash this to a 6970 at least but never got around to it - are there any detailed instructions out there)

but that is not the point of this post. I have around £300 to spend on a new card. I current am gaming at 1920x1080 and have a second monitor that I also use. every so often I hook my pc up to my 46 inch TV via HMDI with the sound pasted through to my AV reciever.

I need a new card that will allow be to play the lastest games at max settings or as close to as possible. I could probably increase it a little if a better cards gives me more longetivity.
